This day trip is a wonderful opportunity to explore the stunning beauty of Khan Khentii mountain range, unique rock formations of Terelj National Park, experience the hospitality of Mongolian nomads and have an active adventure within a day.
9.00 - 10.00 In the morning transfer to Terelj National Park 70 km away. On the way visit to Chinggis Khaan statue complex and Ariyapala monastery. After exploring the area surrounding this unique shaped rock and taking photographs of this stunning landscape, you will visit a local nomad’s family, where you will witness the genuine culture of Mongolian nomads and enjoy their hospitality. Then you will get to the ger camp to have lunch.
In the afternoon you can enjoy hiking around the area or having an hour horse riding excursion.
After 17.00 you will leave the National Park and get back to Ulan Bator.

It is an ideal place for taking a trip on horseback along the Tuul River or in the valley and visit a local family, to explore nomad’s lifestyle. The Turtle Rock created by nature, Ariyapala monastery and the lifestyle of nomads are the key attractions.
